Wendy Patitucci
Director of Employment Policy and Practice
Wendy has been with the Research Foundation for almost 8 years and is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s Office of Employment Policy and Practice (EP&P). EP&P has jurisdiction over the Foundation’s health, pension and fringe benefits plans, labor and employment relations, affirmative action and immigration petitions filed by the Foundation on behalf of their foreign employees. Prior to joining the Research Foundation, Wendy was the Deputy Chair/General Counsel for New York City’s Office of Collective Bargaining. Wendy also was a Manager in the Department of Human Resources at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. She received her JD from Brooklyn Law School, a MSILR from Baruch College/Cornell University, and a BS from St. Joseph’s College.
Talin Spenjian
Assistant Director, Human Resources
Talin Spenjian has worked in Human Resources in the nonprofit sector for over nine years. She came to Research Foundation as a Team Leader/Client Services Representative in 2004. Since then she was promoted to Benefits Specialist in 2005 and is currently the Assistant Director of the Employment, Policy and Practice Department. She supervises a staff of eight, ranging from HR clerks to HR professionals. Talin interfaces with insurance vendors and brokers and oversees the development of benefits plans. In addition, she ensures that benefits plans comply with ERISA and HIPAA regulations. Talin administers the Grants Plus benefits plans including compliance and payables on behalf of GP clients. Talin received her BS degree in Political Science from Marist College, her MPS in Labor Relations from Cornell University ILR School, and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
