Fair Housing Justice Center
GrantsPlus is pleased to announce that we are providing administrative and fiscal services to the Fair Housing Justice Center, located in New York. The Fair Housing Justice Center is dedicated to challenging systemic housing discrimination, promoting open and inclusive communities, and strengthening fair housing enforcement. FHJC serves as an advocate for public policies and programs that reverse the harm caused by systemic discrimination and inequality. Its vital services include counseling on fair housing rights, investigative assistance on violations, legal referrals, and training.
The Fair Housing Justice Center also runs the Acting for Justice program. Actors and other entertainment professionals are recruited as “testers” to investigate and gather evidence in cases of discriminatory housing practices.
