Jacek Olszewski
Chief Information Officer

Jacek Olszewski is responsible for ensuring that the RF and GrantsPlus’ information technology investments are aligned with their strategic business objectives.

Jacek has over 20 years of experience in Information Systems specializing in financial systems. His experience includes a Business Systems Analyst position at Irving Trust Bank on Wall Street, IT Director at the Navy Motion Picture Service reporting to a commanding officer at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and a Business Analyst/Developer Manager at True North, an advertising agency responsible for the design, development, and implementation of financial systems. Jacek has also done some consulting work in the area of Business Continuity and implementation of financial applications.

Jacek received his BA degree in Management Information Systems from Pace University and completed his study towards MS in Information Systems from Brooklyn College.

Arthur Fossum
Assistant Director, Systems and Information Services

Arthur joined the Research Foundation in 1999 to run the systems side of SIS. He brought with him a skill set which he learned from working in large corporate IT environments. He has 13 years experience in IT. He is currently responsible for the servers, network, and overall information security for the RF. He received his BS in Computer Science from the College of Staten Island.

Francis Gopez
Director of Software Development

Francis joined the Research Foundation in 1997 as a Software/Report Developer. He has 21 years experience in Software and System development. He is currently responsible for all the RF home grown systems and web applications, including RF and Field reports requirements. He was responsible for putting the RF on the Web.

Steve Van Lenten
Manager, Business Systems Analysis and Design

Steven joined the Research Foundation in 1993, bringing with him financial management and systems experience gained since graduating William Paterson University with a dual degree in Computer Science and Business Management. Beginning his career at the Foundation as the Director of Payroll Services, he currently serves as the Manager of Business Systems Analysis and Design.
